Note: This feature is only available for products, not for hotels, flights, destinations, home listings, vehicles or other types of items.

You need the Manage catalogue permission to add items. Learn about catalogue permissions.

To add items manually:

1. Go to Commerce Manager and select your catalogue.
2. Open the Catalogue tab and go to Items.
3. Select Add items. In the drop-down, select Add multiple items.
4. Select Manual followed by Next.
5. In the form, each row contains information for one item. First, add an image of your item. Images must be at least 500 x 500 pixels, in JPEG or PNG format and a maximum of 8 MB.
6. Enter a name, description and other details for your item. Scroll to the right-hand side or use the Tab key on your keyboard to view and fill in all fields. We recommend that you provide as much information as possible to help customers make a purchase decision.

Note: To display your item in Advantage+ catalogue ads, you must enter a content ID for the item in your catalogue that matches its content ID in the Meta pixel code on your website. Learn more about pixel events for Advantage+ catalogue ads.

7. To add another variant of an item, such as a different size or colour, select on the left-hand side of that item's row and select Add variant from the drop-down. Edit any information that's different about the new variant. To add more variants, select + New variant.
8. To add a new item, select + New row or select the drop-down next to it to add 5 or 10 new rows at once. To duplicate an item, select and then Duplicate item. Edit any information that's different about the duplicated item.
9. When you've finished, select Upload items in the bottom right-hand corner. In the confirmation window, select Done.

You've added items to your catalogue manually. You can now view your items or edit items manually in the Items tab.
