Client-Side Meta Verification Checklist

Business Preparation

Business Registration:
  1. Ensure your business is legally registered and has all necessary documents (e.g., business license,  incorporation certificate ETC). 
  2. Confirm that your business name, address, and contact details are consistent across all official documents. 
Facebook Business Manager Account: 
  1. Verify that your Facebook Business Manager account is set up and active. 
  2. Make sure the account has the correct business details and is linked to the appropriate Facebook Pages and Ad Accounts. 
  3. Ensure your Business Manager account is eligible for verification (e.g., no unresolved policy violations). 

Documentation Preparation 
Gather Required Documents: Collect all necessary documents for the verification process, such as: 
  1. Business license or certificate of incorporation
  2. Utility bill or bank statement (with the business’s name and address)
  3. Business tax or VAT registration
  4. Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement) 
  5. Phone bill (for phone number verification) 

Document Compliance: 
  1. Ensure all documents are current, clear, and in an accepted format (e.g., PDF). 
  2. Verify that documents are in a supported language. If not, get them translated into English with an official stamp from the translating agency. 
Check Document Details: 
  1. Make sure the business name on documents exactly matches the name in your Facebook Business Manager account. 
  2. Ensure all documents show the full and correct business address. 
  3. Confirm that all documents are signed, sealed, or certified as required. 

Start the Verification Process 
Submit Documentation
WABA Phone Verification (if applicable): 
      If opting for phone verification, ensure the phone number is valid and can receive SMS or voice calls. 
      Be prepared to submit a document that validates the business phone number.
