How to apply for Green Tick Verification 


Steps 1 : 

Navigate to your Facebook Business Setting --> WhatsApp Accounts --> WhatsApp Manager 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steps 2 :  

 

On the left navigation, navigate to Account Tools --> Phone Numbers 

 

 

 

 

Steps 3 :   

Click on the "Settings" icon 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steps 4 :  

Under Profile, click on "Submit Request" under the "Official Business Account" section 

  

 

 

   

Steps 5 :  

Fill in the required details with press/media article links and Submit the request 

 

 

 

 

 

Note : If your request is rejected, you can submit a new request after 30 days. Businesses can continue to grow their presence and wait during this period before submitting another Official Business Account request. It may take time to build the business's presence in news articles as described above. 

 

 

Pre-requisites for Green Tick Approval: 

 

  • You must be using a WhatsApp API Approved Business Account 

  • You must enable 2 Step Authentication for the number 

  • The Facebook Business Manager should be verified by Facebook 

  • The display name should be approved by Facebook. 

  • Must be a business (Individuals are not allowed as of now)
